Universitat Witten / Herdecke
An agreement has been drawn up between the Indian Institute of Ecology and
Environment (IIEE), Saket Maidan Garhi Road, New Delhi, and Witten/Herdecke University (UWH)
concerning the exchange of teachers, researchers and students ("the visitors") as well as
the cooperation in joint training, seminar, research and development activities.
Suppositions
1.Visiting students who attend short courses at IIEE and/or UWH for visiting periods
beginning with about to longer periods of time, depending on the circumstances.
2.For every extended visit IIEE and UWH together construct a program, which states
the purpose, form and contents for specific exchange.
Formalities
3.IIEE and/or UWH undertake that someone is appointed in their respective organisation
who will be responsible that exchange functions in an orderly fashion.
4.IIEE and/or UWH undertake to establish a "Custodial activity" whose function will
be to look after the visitors' social Well-being.
Finances
5.In those cases when the visitor is engaged in IIEE's or UWH's own activity,
honorarium shall be paid according to the user organization's normal regulations.
6.Visitors have to pay no tuition to the visited organizations.
Course Activities
7.IIEE and/or UWH accept each other's courses as of equal value with reference to
the course being a part of the yearly full-time Studies.
8.IIEE and UWH will provide short communication courses in English and German
respectively.
Information
9.IIEE and UWH exchange information on research, teaching and other
projects and exchange publications.
